Jennifer Bhooshan has been sharing her quirky love for music, kids, and education with K-4 students since 2005. She has completed her master’s level Orff Certification and was awarded Teacher of the Year for southwest Illinois in 2020. Jennifer specializes in teaching a wide variety of students including several self-contained classes of non-verbal students with Autism, self-contained classes of functional life skills, and mainstream blended classes with students with disabilities. Her favorite pastime is raising her beautiful and spicy daughter named Nora and she currently serves as the president of the St. Louis Orff Chapter.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore the creative potential of mindful movement, rhythm and melody creation, improvisation, storytelling, drawing, and more. With Orff instruments, recorders, and ukuleles in the mix, you’ll experience artistically rich, Monday-ready lessons that are immediately usable in your classroom. Bring your hand drum, soprano recorder, ukulele (if you have one), and your sense of adventure. Come ready to make music, make memories, and leave with a treasure trove of ideas to inspire both you and your students! |
Drue Bullington teaches elemental music and movement at Brownstown Elementary School in Conestoga Valley School District in Lancaster, PA. Bullington is twice a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he received a B.S. in Music Education and a M.M. in Music Education with a certification in Orff Schulwerk. Drue holds a second master’s degree from Wilkes University in Online Teaching and Learning with an Online Educator’s Certificate of Endorsement from the State of Pennsylvania.
He is a Teacher Educator in several Orff Schulwerk Levels Certification programs around the U.S.and offers numerous professional development and workshop sessions on elemental music and movement through the Orff Schulwerk Approach, elemental music and movement applications in the classroom, incorporating technology, and integrating the soprano ukulele into the K-12 music classroom. Drue serves as President of the Board of Directors of the American Center for Elemental Music and Movement. He is also an editor on the American Orff Schulwerk Association’s Reverberations Publication Committee.

Richard Lawton is the recorder instructor in the Los Angeles County Orff Course. He also teaches general and choral music for the Los Angeles Unified School District, is an adjunct faculty member at California State University, East Bay, and a curriculum contributor for Quaver Music. Richard is a past-president of the Los Angeles AOSA Chapter Board. He received his M. Mus. and Orff certification at Cal State LA and has done post-level III work at the Arizona State, Villanova, University of St. Thomas, and University of Missouri, St. Louis Orff courses. In his classroom he has made improvisation and the use of popular music learning
